Google Maps vous permet, notamment sur Toprural, de consulter un itinéraire en ligne, sur une carte routière classique ou en image satellite, connaître les sites intéressants à proximité de votre destination ou la longueur du trajet.
Avec l’intégration de Street View sur les cartes, on peut aussi voir rues et lieux en images à 360º. Pour l’instant, le service fonctionne pour les rues des grandes villes, comme New-York ou Paris. Mais, en collaboration avec Atout France, Google Maps a lancé une consultation pour choisir les lieux exceptionnels français qui y figureront.
14 propositions des internautes ont été retenues, il faut maintenant en sélectionner 2 :

– le Château des ducs de Bretagne de Nantes,
– le Château de Chambord,
– le Château de Fontainebleau,
– la Cité médiévale de Carcassonne,
– le Stade de France à Saint-Denis,
